MN Original Music Festival 2023
In 2023 we provided free activities, workshops and paid performance opportunities to 137 Minnesota musicians that perform original music. Help us do better in 2024, support the Minnesota Original Music Festival with a tax deductible contribution. Proceeds go toward the 2024 edition of our event. July 15-21, 2024
Your donation supports The Minnesota Original Music Festival (MOMFest), an affiliation of musicians and supporters of live, original Minnesota music, that organizes activities, workshops, & live performances, free to the general public, designed to support Minnesota-based performers that compose and perform original music.
MOMFest activities are designed to encourage networking between artists, to create professional and social connections that facilitate Minnesota musicians attempting to navigate Minnesota's music scene.
MOMFest workshops include sessions with working musicians, music educators, and other music professionals, that explore topics that include monetizing original work, protecting intellectual property, songwriting, improvising, accessing resources available to Minnesota musicians, grant writing, booking, and gigging, among others.
MOMFest creates paid performance opportunities for musicians to perform their original work, over the weeklong event. This year we will be opening our application process on January 1, 2024.
