Minnesotans are known for their generosity, and each year they come together for Give to the Max Day, a 24-hour celebration of giving that supports nonprofits and schools across the state. Since 2009, generous donors have donated over $330 million through this statewide campaign organized by GiveMN.

This year, the Johnson Memorial Foundation is excited to participate once again in Give to the Max Day on Thursday, November 20, 2025.  Donations during this campaign will support the Foundation's 2026 project to upgrade safety and communication technology at Johnson Memorial Health Services, specifically funding a Wanderguard Blue system and a Nurse Call Light System for our Long-Term Care and Hospital facilities.

These vital systems enhance resident and patient safety, improve staff communication, and give families peace of mind.  The Wanderguard Blue system helps protect residents by discreetly monitoring movement and preventing unsafe wandering.  The Nurse Call Light System enables residents and patients to communicate quickly and reliably with caregivers, facilitating faster response times and higher-quality care.

“At Johnson Memorial Foundation, we believe everything comes back to you, the care we provide, the lives we impact, and the improvements we make are all made possible through our community’s generosity,” said Saundra Snobl, Foundation Manager. “Your support this year will help us strengthen the safety, comfort, and care of every patient and resident at Johnson Memorial.”

Every donation made through GiveMN.org/story/ between November 1 and November 20 supports the Johnson Memorial Foundation in qualifying for bonus grants and prize drawings totaling $100,000, thanks to the generosity of the Bush Foundation and GiveMN.

Join us this Give to the Max Day to support local healthcare innovation and safety.  Together, we can make a lasting difference for patients, residents, and families in our community.
