Bus Fare at STRINGWOOD!

A premier summer music festival, Stringwood specializes in connecting young musicians (ages 12-22) from across the United States to chamber music as an art form, and developing expression in a supportive and nurturing environment through collaborative experiences.

The program is enhanced by its location at the Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center, near Lanesboro, MN, home to year round naturalists, organic gardens, eighty acres of pristine woodlands, canoeing, high ropes courses, indoor rock wall, nature hikes, bike trails, and breathtaking views.

The Stringwood schedule provides ample time and space for personal practice, in-depth daily rehearsals and coachings, private lessons with master teachers, and generous interaction with world-class guest artists in an energized and collaborative environment. 

Performances take place in significant and historical venues throughout the region, including the Minnesota Marine Art Museum in Winona, Dvorak's summer home of 1893 in Spillville, IA, and the stunning Antonello Hall in Minneapolis, MN.

Students and faculty travel to performance venues by coach bus. Bus fare is $950 per trip.
