In August of 2014 James Rienstra of Zimmerman left on a 15,000 mile bike ride to raise money and awareness for cancer research. He will be finishing his journey and returning home in February of 2015. This arctic plunge will be his welcome home party and final fundraiser to an 18-month long adventure.
Last year we had close to 70 jumpers and raised $6,500. This year we would like to raise at least $10,000 and have 100 jumpers.
Each jumper pays a $50 entry fee and if you enter before January 15th, 2015 you will receive a FREE t-shirt.
Jumpers are also encouraged, but not required, to raise additional funds. There will be prizes the day of the event for most money raised by an individual, a team and also best costumes.
