Jason and Alexis – Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly

Friends of the Elderly is a volunteer-based organization committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the older adults in Minnesota. We offer volunteers and our elders the opportunity to come together, foster enduring friendships, and celebrate life. In response to COVID-19, our Elder Friends Phone Companions program reaches hundreds of isolated older adults every week with the life-affirming benefits of companionship when there are no family or close friends to bring comfort and reassurance during this time. By working together with our volunteers, donors, and friends we can achieve the vision of a community in which all older adults are connected, valued and loved.
