Dear Families and Friends,

We all aspire to see our young people ignite their excitement for knowledge. A student’s mind expands when they are encouraged to explore and become actively involved in the learning process. This is our vision for our students.

This Fall, we have a unique opportunity, as a united community, to elevate this vision for our students. Through the Annual Campaign, running from now until December 31st, your gift will directly enhance the viability of CDM and enrich the quality of our students’ music experiences.

BUILDING A STRONG FUTURE THROUGH THE ANNUAL CAMPAIGN

Our Annual Campaign goal this year is $8,000. Thanks to the Granite City Lumberjacks, who have generously matched the first $1,000, we are off to a fantastic start!

Your contribution to the Annual Campaign will help us continue providing weekly music programming for our students and acquire new instruments such as a gathering drum, triangles, floor drums, xylophones, and more! In an exciting collaboration with the Wirth Center for Performing Arts, we will bring early childhood education music teachers in-house. These teachers will work closely with the lead teachers to provide a music curriculum that complements each month’s classroom theme! Each class will enjoy a 30-minute music session on Tuesday mornings.
