Our friends down the street at The Aliveness Project offer free HIV Testing, case management, mental and physical health services, in-house community meals, a food shelf, and companionship and comradery to those living with HIV.
The Aliveness Project’s winter Holiday Stocking program is expanding into the clothing drive, below, BUT if you also want to help stuff client’s stocking, every $100 you donate to KFNA from October 20-30 we will match with a $25 gift card for Aliveness to stuff in member’s stockings! Cash donations can be made here!
Also accepting new or like-new (men’s sizes/styles are especially useful):
- Winter hats
- Socks
- Winter gloves
- Winter scarves
- Christmas stockings
- Pssst…. also, the Aliveness Dietician mentioned that they could really use protein bars or Ensure/Boost protein supplement drinks.
Clothing can be dropped off at South Nicollet Action Center, 3537 Nicollet Avenue South, Minneapolis between 10 AM- 5 PM, Monday through Friday, October 20-30!
