MN SNAP (Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program) is a nonprofit focused on protecting Minnesota pets. MN SNAP provides affordable, high-quality spay and neuter services at our headquarters in North Minneapolis as well as via our mobile surgery vehicle, which travels to shelters, rescue groups and communities in need across the state.

Since MN SNAP began offering services in April 2010, we’ve:

• Traveled more than 320,000 miles across Minnesota;
• Performed more than 150,055 sterilization surgeries throughout the state;
• Decreased the feral cat population in Minneapolis;
• Prevented the birth of more than 5 million unwanted pets; and
• Helped Minneapolis Animal Care and Control increase their live release rate to a record high of 93 percent.

Like many Minnesota businesses, MN SNAP has been greatly impacted by the pandemic. We've been working hard to provide our essential services and have only seen the need for them increase.
