"Friends of the Greenway" 2022 Annual Fund

Become a Member of the Midtown Greenway Coalition!  Our work for the Greenway is powered by tax-deductible donations from people who love the trail.

Donations of $100 or more (or $10/month) make you an official Friend of the Greenway!

As the nonprofit that worked to get the Greenway built, we're proud it has become an essential alternative transit corridor for the region and a national model.

We're working hard to keep it safe, clean, green, full of art -- and open for everyone.   And we're working to extend it over the river and through Saint Paul!

We're a 501c3 nonprofit organization that relies on donations to fund our work for the Greenway.  

We hope you will consider making a donation and becoming a Friend of the Greenway.  Donations of $100 or more -- or sustaining monthly donations of $10 or more -- will make you an official FRIEND OF THE GREENWAY.

Your support will help us:

- Work to Extend the Greenway over the River and through Saint Paul.

- Monitor the re-paving do-over by the City of Minneapolis.  We convinced Minneapolis Public Works to re-do their recent trail repaving, which was terrible and resulted in a bumpy surface with unsafe gaps and cracks.  The new surface went in this fall and it looks great!

- Coordinate our Midtown Bike + Walk Ambassadors, who bike and walk in the Lake Street-Greenway corridor to welcome visitors, support small businesses, and help keep the area safe.

- Add more public art to the Greenway and organize the Greenway Glow Arts Festival.

- Organize regular trail clean-ups, plant trees and gardens, and much more!

Member Benefits

All donors receive our newsletter and a thank-you receipt letter for tax purposes.  Friends of the Greenway level donors receive a bicycle benefits sticker, good for discounts at local retailers, plus a spoke card and sticker.
