Help Us Build New Habitats for Endangered Amur Leopards and Tigers

As we approach the annual Give to the Max MN day, the Guardians of Conservation are diligently working to sponsor new habitats for the endangered Amur leopards and tigers at Hemker Park & Zoo. This initiative is crucial for providing these magnificent animals with the safe and enriching environment they deserve.

Koshka's Urgent Need for a New Home

One of the key beneficiaries of this project is Koshka, an Amur leopard who found himself in desperate need of a new home. The facility where he previously resided was closing, leaving him without a place to go. Hemker Park & Zoo received the call and, driven by their unwavering commitment to wildlife conservation, they immediately agreed to welcome Koshka.

A Commitment to Wildlife Conservation

Understanding the significance of providing Koshka with a suitable habitat, the Guardians of Conservation pledged their support. They aim to sponsor a state-of-the-art habitat that includes:

  • Climbing Areas: To stimulate Koshka's natural instincts and provide opportunities for exercise.
  • Water Feature: To offer enrichment and a cooling spot during warmer months.
  • Indoor and Outdoor Spaces: To ensure comfort and adaptability to various weather conditions.

How You Can Help

Your support can make a tangible difference in the lives of these endangered animals. By contributing to the Give to the Max MN day, you can help ensure that Koshka and other endangered species at the zoo live in environments that promote their well-being and preserve their species for future generations.

Join us in making a positive impact on wildlife conservation. Together, we can create a brighter future for Koshka and many other animals.

The Guardians of Conservation are actively involved in a campaign to support endangered felines, in collaboration with Hemker Park & Zoo. This initiative focuses on constructing new habitats for the Tigers and the Amur Leopard, which are critical for their survival and well-being. The construction of these habitats is not only a step towards providing a safe environment for these animals but also serves as an educational platform to raise awareness about the plight of endangered species. The importance of aiding endangered animals cannot be overstated; they play a pivotal role in maintaining the delicate balance of our ecosystems. Efforts like these contribute to biodiversity, which is essential for the health of the planet and the survival of all species, including humans. By supporting such campaigns, we can help ensure that these magnificent creatures do not vanish from our world.
