Give to the Max Day 2020!

Give to the Max Day 2020 is an amazing opportunity that the Friends are taking advantage of this year! We hope to raise in excess of $5,000 to help support our early childhood literacy programming and provide children's materials. 

With social distancing being such an important aspect of how we formatted programming this year, we've had to get creative and think outside of the box. This has led to what we believe are some amazing ideas, including our Storytime Suitcases - pre-packaged weekly preschool story times for families to bring home and work through together! They include books, crafts, and worksheets all based around different themes! We will also be including general education activities and worksheets, to help with learning letters, numbers, colors, and more!

We've also already implemented and intend to bring back our Picture Book Parade story time along the Arvig Park walking trail, as soon as weather permits. And of course, we are always looking forward to our Children's Summer Reading program which happens every June and July.
