Supporting Glassblowing at the MN State Fair

In 2022 our long-lived Minnesota State Fair mobile glassblowing furnace breathed its last fiery breath! As we prepare for this year's state fair please consider giving a donation to help support the purchase of a new furnace and much needed upgrades to our mobile. Each year our mobile glassblowing demonstrations provides the chance for our community members to connect with the public, expand appreciation for glass art, improve sales for local artists, and provide training and practice for glassblowing beginners!

If you are an organization or business considering a donation, we would love to promote you! Tens of thousands of visitors come through our booth each year to watch exciting demonstrations and purchase beautiful glass art for sale.

2023 State Fair Information:

Aug. 24, 2023 - Labor Day, Sept. 4, 2023

9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily (Labor Day until 8 pm)

Foci MCGA will be participating in the Fair by providing public glassblowing demonstrations, as well as a gallery space featuring a wide variety of glass pieces made by local artisans. We will also be offering a State Fair special discount on select Glass Discovery Experiences!
