My family and I love living here in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Still, we believe we can make our community even better.
I'm committed to doing all I can to promote greater and greater fairness, justice and equitability. I've found a partner that helps me live out these progressive values - Community Shares of Minnesota.
For 35 years of existence, Community Shares of Minnesota (originally Cooperating Fund Drive, later Community Solutions Fund) has raised almost $20 million toward social change needs like achieving LGBT equality; building accessible, affordable, and fair communities; welcoming immigrants and refugees; empowering women and children; and many more community-building initiatives in Minnesota.
Community Shares is unique, because when you give to Community Shares, you are supporting a wide range of issues that need to be addressed in our community, with many of these issues being interrelated. Progress in one area can fuel change in a host of other areas.
