Friends of the Library is a way to give to the Jackson County Library with a tax deductible gift. Every dollar you donate during Give to the Max Day is given to the Library to buy materials.
Since our beginning in 2006 we have given countless hours to the library and helped raise money for the teen area, Ebooks, 1000 books before kindergarten and others. We conduct the annual book sale and save the library staff many hours of planning and staffing. We have helped the library receive grants for its programs. We are affiliated with the Jackson Community Foundation and the Southwest Initiative Foundation.
The Friends of the Library helps to nurture closer relations between the libraries and our community; shares our excitement for books and other resources; encourages increased usage of the libraries, and enhances library services by providing funding and volunteers.
Help us continue in our mission. Donate today! Visit our libraries often!
