FIRST (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology) Robotics Competition is an international sport which is growing every year and is the only sport where all the team members can turn pro. Every FRC team is run as a business and gives a student the opportunity to be a part of that business for four years. The students on these teams are the Arrowhead’s future machinists, electricians, programmers, designers, network engineers, technical writers, marketers, accountants and more.

What We Do

  • Learn from professionals in the community
  • Design, build, and program a robot in a short 6 week FRC build season
  • Maximize robot performance while adhering to a complex set of rules
  • Compete and cooperate in alliances at competitions
  • Learn and use sophisticated software and hardware
  • Learn teamwork and cooperation skills
  • Provide a hands-on experience with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
  • Build friendships and have fun
  • Go to community events and demonstrate our robots
