COVID-19 cancels our outreach performance, so we are creating a film to distribute to schools!

$7,850

raised by 53 people

$9,000 goal

This year, due to COVID-19 we will sadly miss our opportunity to bring the joy and experience of dance theater to thousands of schoolchildren that come and see our show for free because of your generous support.  They would normally be cheering and dancing in the aisles of O’Shaughnessy Auditorium, but that will not stop our mission to connect with those kids and more!

For this season we are creating a film project based on the book, Princess Monroe and Her Happily Ever After, written by local author, Jody Vallee Smith. The story exudes empowerment for this young girl as she imagines that her personal path to happiness has nothing to do with being a princess. Once the film is completed, we will deliver it to the schools via a download, with an accompanying curriculum to help the teachers present either in-person or via distance learning to their students.
