Minnesota Ballet TheatreA full-length production of The Nutcracker in the Metro Area

During these unexpected times, Minnesota Ballet Theatre has found a way to bring a full-length production of The Nutcracker to audiences. We want to keep the Art of Ballet accessible for everyone! We have made many changes for the safety of our dancers, stage crew and spectators. Dancers cast has been reduced and audience seating has been limited and spread for social distancing, as well as many other safety measures.
There have been other big changes that will contribute to the cost of running this live production. This year we will have digital images instead of original backdrops, pre laid marly floor, purchasing of temperature scanners and hand sanitizers for spectators and floor stickers for social distancing. We have made all these changes to help our volunteers, dancers and audience social distance and to be safe.
Ticket sales have been drastically cut this year. We are only able to sell 160 tickets per show. With this limitation, we prospect that sales will cover only 15% of our production expenses.
We hope during this challenging time, that you would still consider making a donation to MBT. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and could ensure that MBT will be able to continue to fulfill our mission: perform and stage new ballet productions, develop ballet artists and provide community outreach and dance education.
We need your help and hope you will consider contributing to our production!
Donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
