2025 Dowling Read-a-thon
During this annual event, we invite students to participate in reading and when possible, collecting pledges to help support special activities taking place through Dowling.
Our fundraising goal for this Read-a-thon in 2025 is $21,000. The funds raised in the Read-a-thon represent almost 2/3 of the PTO's annual budget, which exists to support staff/students and enhance the school community.
The money raised by the Read-a-thon provides mini grants to teachers for supplies and virtual field trips in addition to other fun school activities and support. This process is more than simply about raising money; it's about sparking a curiosity for reading!
