The DGF School Foundation (the “Foundation”) was founded in early 2024 by a passionate group of community members, educators, and parents. Common minded members of the Foundation brainstormed and created a single, powerful vision for the organization: to ensure every student in the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (DGF) public school district has access to an exceptional educational experience, regardless of their background or financial situation.
Like many rural public schools, ISD 2164, which serves the communities of Dilworth, Glyndon, Felton, and surrounding areas, faces growing financial challenges due to limited state and federal funding. The Foundation was created to bridge this gap and to be a catalyst for opportunity, equity, and enrichment in our schools. The Foundation is committed to supporting the students, staff, and programs within ISD 2164 by providing financial assistance, scholarships, grants, and other forms of support as stated in our Areas of Impact: The Rebel Difference.

The Foundation donations empower our schools to deliver a well-rounded education that prepares every student for success. The impact of giving extends far beyond the dollars raised as each contribution helps shape the future of our children and our community.
Donors may choose to allocate their gift to any of the five impact areas above. If no designation is made, funds will be directed where they are needed most as determined by the Foundation Board. To ensure the effective operation of the Foundation, a small portion of donations may be used to support essential Foundation administrative and operating costs, including, but not limited to, mailing, tax filings, printing, and marketing.
The Foundation welcomes all input, questions, and contributions as we work together to support our schools. Donors and community members who are interested in deeper involvement are invited to share ideas, provide feedback, or participate in leadership opportunities, including service on a foundation committee or the Board of Directors. Your voice matters, and your involvement helps guide impactful decisions that benefit our students, educators, and schools.
