Christmas gifts for kids 2021

For the past 29+ years, the Oakdale Area Chamber of Commerce (OACC) has sponsored a program called “Holiday Helping Hands.” Each year, several thousand dollars of gifts are donated to help area families who are in need. Santa and his helpers personally deliver gifts to the families. Members of OACC, along with Tartan High School students, teachers, 3Mers and community members volunteer to shop for the families, wrap the gifts and deliver directly to the family. Last year, over 90 families had a brighter Christmas because of the generosity of OACC members, community members and Tartan High School.

The actual delivery day of the event is uncertain due to the limitations of COVID-19.  Because of the pandemic, the needs of the families have increased and complexities of distribution will be a challenge. HHH will follow the safety guidelines of District 622 to determine our approach to getting the gifts to our kids. Your contribution is more important than ever.
