Courtney's Fundraiser for The Trevor Project

Hi friends! For Pride Month 2019 my company, Donut, is encouraging each of us to organize a fundraiser for the LGTBQ+ charity/organization of our choice. I've chosen to raise funds for The Trevor Project. If you've never heard of The Trevor Project, their mission is to end suicide among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people.

The Trevor Project offers a suite of crisis intervention and suicide prevention programs, and also offers an education program with resources for youth-serving adults and organizations, a legislative advocacy department fighting for pro-LGBTQ legislation and against anti-LGBTQ rhetoric/policy positions, and conducts research to discover the most effective means to help young LGBTQ people in crisis and end suicide.
