Two years ago I was fortunate enough to meet a beautiful woman, named Sandra Lehane. It was Sandy who introduced me to the Michael Lisnow Respite Center, when I got her email to donate to this wonderful cause as she was running the Boston Marathon in their honor.
Like so many other athletes, after the devastation of the 2013 Marathon, I decided the Boston Marathon was something I had to be apart of. My goal to cross the finish line with pride and happiness of such an extradorinary accomplishment, would not feel complete unless I knew I was running to make a difference in the lives of others.
I am extremely honored to run the 2015 Boston Marathon for the Michaels Miracles Team. I know, with the Respite Center families behind me, I will make all 26.2 miles.
