Comfort Counts at Living Meadows

Your Gift Matters Here!

At Living Meadows, we believe comfort is one of the greatest gifts we can offer the people we serve. Whether someone is here for a short-term rehabilitation stay or calls our community home long-term, comfort provides security, dignity, and peace during some of life’s most challenging moments.

Every day, we care for residents who are recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. Many spend long hours resting, elevating their legs, or practicing movements that will help them return home safely. For these individuals, something as simple as a safe, supportive recliner becomes far more than a piece of furniture—it becomes a tool for healing. A modern recliner provides proper support, pain relief, and the comfort they need to focus on recovery.

Comfort also matters deeply for residents who require specialized equipment. A bariatric bed isn’t just a larger bed—it is a foundation for safety, mobility, and dignity. The right bed prevents injury, reduces discomfort, and helps our staff provide care with ease and respect. When a resident feels secure where they rest, they sleep better, experience less pain, and recover more effectively.

And comfort is found in community spaces, too—especially in our kitchen. One of the ways we show love at Living Meadows is through homemade food. From mashed potatoes to fresh baked Apple Crisp, our kitchen team works hard to bring warmth and joy to our residents through meals made from scratch. We are in need of a new commercial stand mixer that would allow us to continue creating the home-cooked favorites that mean so much to our residents.

Your Gift Makes This Comfort Possible

This Give to the Max Day, we are asking for your support to bring meaningful improvements to our community such as a:

  • New recliners for short-term rehab residents

  • A bariatric bed to support comfort, safety, and dignity

  • A stand mixer to continue offering homemade, heartwarming meals

These upgrades directly enhance daily life for the residents we care for.  When you give comfort, you give dignity. When you give dignity, you give hope.

Thank you for helping us make life better—one resident, one meal, one moment at a time.
