#givetogeeks campaign at Prepare + Prosper – Carla

Once again, it’s time for Give to the Max Day on November 19 and I need your help to reach my personal goal of raising $2,000! At Prepare + Prosper (P+P), we use our geekiness for the greater good. This year, P+P has been challenged to carry out our work virtually for what we thought would be temporary models of service, but we now know will need to be sustained into the foreseeable future. Throughout it all, we remain steadfast in our enthusiasm to proudly embrace our “inner geek” and enjoy the ongoing camaraderie of our wonderful volunteers, staff, and partners. 

P+P prides itself on being a space where people can talk openly about money without judgement. We strive to be a place where people can access services, learn, share, advocate for change, and achieve their financial goals – and geek out over money, finances, and taxes. 

While I have changed to meet life’s current challenges this year, I still find great joy in those things around me – mostly my grandchildren and how they meet each day with enthusiasm and wonder.  They will always be my personal “geek-out.”
