Stories for All Seasons

Stories help us mark time, they help us grieve and celebrate, they help us acknowledge the history that shapes us for better and for worse, they help us transition into each season of the year—and each season of our life. Stories help us move through our lives in way that connects us to the past, to the present, to what we hope for the future, to ourselves, and to each other.

Support Bucket Brigade and donate Thursday, November 19th, Give to the Max Day, to help us reach our goal of $15,000 so we can continue creating and sharing enduring stories.

And we’re excited to announce a Matching Gift! Every donation made will be matched, dollar for dollar, for the first $7,500!

Every donation given on Nov. 19th makes us eligible for bonus GiveMN “Golden Tickets” ranging from $500 to $10,000! Your $10 donation could turn into $10k!

Thank you— for joining the staff, actors, designers, volunteers, donors, and community partners– we’re all Bucket Brigade and together, we can keep telling stories that last and last and last.

Stories we’re telling this Season:

• Feb. 4th-20th– We celebrate our fifteenth anniversary of performing ’Til Death: A Marriage Musical! It’s our annual valentine’s show that helps couples keep laughing together through all the seasons of life. And, new this season, ’Til Death will be at Artistry in Bloomington! We’re excited to be partnering with this beloved theater company with a long history of theater in the Twin Cities.

• Spring/Summer 2027– We look to start a new tradition of touring our new musical, Shanty Boys of Pine County, to communities throughout the state that are connected these timeless stories and songs rooted in Minnesota history.

• Labor Day Weekend, 2027– Our fourth consecutive season of sharing Survivors of the Fire–rekindling the rich tradition of telling the stories of those who survived, and were lost in, the Great Hinckley Fire of 1894, at the Hinckley Fire Museum.

• 2027- We continue writing and developing a new imaginative, playful, inspiring play based on a timeless story from the life of Franz Kafka. Stay tuned for… The Magic Postman!

• 2027– We are beginning to create a new storytelling series to take reimagined classics to Senior and Senior and Assisted Living Residences—bringing enduring, beloved stories to life.
