Black history is American history and at KIPP Minnesota, we believe it's important to honor the history of Black Americans as well as the future legacy of generations to come. This Black History Month, students and staff are celebrating the history and legacy of Black Americans in various ways across our schools and community.
One way KIPPsters are celebrating is by creating artwork of well-known Black leaders. Students have created 35 portraits that we would like to frame at $36.75 per frame and we are asking for your support to purchase frames.
By donating to this fundraiser, you contribute to improving the physical environment for students, as well as ensuring they are continuously represented in their school by making the artwork a permanent fixture of our hallways and classrooms.
