Basic Needs Inc's MN FoodShare Campaign

This March through April 6th, Basic Needs Food Market is proud to participate in Minnesota FoodShare Month, joining nearly 300 food shelves statewide in the largest grassroots hunger relief campaign in Minnesota.

The Food Market has distributed 1+ million pounds of food locally, sourced through partnerships with schools, churches, local gardens, grocery partners, and community donors. Through our Food Market and community programs, we have served 200,000+ adults, children, and seniors annually, ensuring barrier-free access to nutritious and culturally relevant food options across South Washington County.

Our 2026 Minnesota FoodShare goal is to raise $25,000 and collect 5,000 pounds of food to meet growing demand. Every donation will go even further thanks to a generous $12,500 matching gift from Bob & Judy Horn, doubling the impact of your support.
