Improvathon is 28 hours straight of improv, and you can see us perform online at 7:00pm CT on Thursday, November 19th!

Homemade Improv Jam was initially set up as a virtual improv jam for new and familiar members of our amazing improv community to try new things in a digital space, and keep our improv fresh while we’re unable to be together in person.

Events throughout the spring in the summer caused us to pause, reflect, and find ways to move forward in our grief as we continue to take care of ourselves and each other, and to fight for justice. Inherently, that also called us to explore our imaginations collectively to find new paths forward; to rid our minds of the restraints of What Has Been in order to seek What Can Be; What Should Be.

HUGE Theater was, well, HUGE in allowing us a space to promote this jam and allow us to connect with others in the the Twin Cities, across the country, and literally around the world!

As an artist-led non-profit HUGE has taken efforts to be inclusive and representative of all the unique voices in our communities. HUGE offers monthly improv jams, special workshops, and scholarships for classes all in the name of making improv accessible to people who are traditionally underserved and underrepresented to get great new talent on stage or screen.

Let's support HUGE in developing safe and supportive spaces. We need it now more than ever!
