One generous couple has pledged $5,000 matches for each project: a new marquee and a state-of-the-art loop hearing system.  

The new marquee will replace the original marquee dating back to 1936; there's currently a facade over that that goes back decades. It will bring the exterior of Andria Theatre into 21st Century technology. The marquee will be a beacon for the entire downtown Alexandria area.

The loop hearing system will transform the patron experience for the hearing impaired. The system will bring the sound from the stage directly into a patron's wi-fi enabled hearing device.  We are so excited to be able to cater to our patrons who are hearing impaired. We hope other folks who have not attended productions because of their hearing will come and give Andria a try when the loop is installed.
