Grant received, over half-way there!
On March 25, Analog Dance Works received a $10,000 grant from the Metro Regional Arts Council to support our project! This is so exciting and puts us over the halfway point of our annual budget. We received an additional $1500 from our Launch Party Fundraiser, which puts us at $12,130. Originally, our goal was $20,000, and I have changed our amount to reflect what we still need. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
Help Analog Dance Works by donating to our annual campaign! Your support helps us to create thought-provoking contemporary dance works committed to the intersection of dance and science.
In the works: Brenna and company member Zoë Koenig are choreographing an evening of work inspired by the environment and our future. Brenna will continue developing Serve Id, a dance quartet about whitetail deer aiming to connect Minnesotans to their environment while Zoë will be undertaking a pertinent work about cloud loss in Cloud Cover. We will be premiering these works in an evening of dance in September, 2020 at at the Tek Box.
Help us get there! All donations will go first and foremost to our incredible artists and technical members who make Analog possible. We also need help covering studio and theater rental costs, costume and prop costs, advertisement costs, and administrative costs. Your support is greatly appreciated.
