MSP International Airport is widely recognized for leading the industry in providing an exceptional customer experience. 

This is a team effort throughout our airport community, and everyone from TSA to airlines, retail staff, and volunteers plays an important part. Airport Foundation volunteers are in the terminals every day, helping over 2 million travelers per year and bringing Minnesota hospitality to everyone they meet. With a green vest and a smile, they help make MSP Airport a warm, welcoming place to be. Now more than ever, travelers need our support and assistance. Our Mission

The Airport Foundation MSP dedicates itself to enhancing the experience and exceeding the expectations of travelers at MSP International Airport, as well as supporting the airport and broader aviation community.

Our Programs 

Travelers Assistance

Travelers Assistance is one of the most visible resources for visitors at MSP Airport. Volunteers provide information and services to travelers seven days a week from 8:00 am-8:00 pm and help more than two million people each year!

• Travelers Assistance volunteers work at information booths and walk the terminals assisting travelers with directions, flight status, lost and found, transportation, hotels, and tourist attractions.
• CBP (Customs and Border Protection) Guides welcome incoming international travelers while assisting U.S. Customs personnel within the Federal Inspection Area.
• MSP Animal Ambassadors volunteer with their human handlers in casual meet-and-greet activities at designated petting stations.

In addition, we offer a variety of services including:

• Directing travelers to airport amenities such as nursing mother’s rooms, family restrooms, and service animal relief areas.
• Connecting travelers with translation and interpreter services.
• Escorting travelers with special needs (Meet & Assist).
• Providing a comfortable waiting area for people who are using our services.

ARTS@MSP

The mission of the ARTS@MSP program is to enhance the image of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), enrich the public’s experience and promote a sense of place through arts and culture. Working in partnership with the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), the Airport Foundation MSP began administering this program in 2008.
