The Association for Black Economic Power (ABEP) exists to remove social stigmas and provide a solid financial foundation that enables people to move from just existing to fully thriving. We are working toward the common goal of building and sustaining wealth in underserved communities.

As ABEP grows, its important that our outreach grows with it! As we work to wrap up the opening of the first Black-Led Credit Union in Minnesota we are laying the foundation for our next endeavors. This fundraiser directly impacts the future projects including, but certainly not limited to the following:

- Financial Education

- Homeownership Readiness

- Internships

- Scholarship Programs

- Community Events

The Vision for the Internships

ABEP would like to hire student interns to play a crucial role in community outreach! We are hoping to bring on 2 interns to assist us with the outreach and in return give them some experience with the business and non profit world! The best way for us to get the word out and share our opportunities is through community events and outreach and we can't do that alone!

The Vision for the Scholarships

ABEP is excited about giving scholarships to students in the community who apply through a written essay regarding the importance of generational wealth in strengthening our community. Our desire is to give three scholarships at the following levels: $500, $1,000, $1,500.
