Through preserving the objects, images and stories of our collective past and sharing those in publications, online offerings, exhibits, research opportunities, tours and presentations, the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society works to connect our community to its past every day.
Throughout the past year and a half the number of photographs, objects and archival materials offered to the WBLAHS has increased greatly as people have spent time cleaning and organizing at home. Your contribution will be used to
- catalog the items into the collection database;
- purchase archival storage boxes and folders to properly rehouse incoming items,
- and scan or digitize appropriate items to improve preservation and access to the public.
Won't you be a part of this important work?
Donate to the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society for Give to the Max Day and your contribution will be matched dollar for dollar!
The White Bear Lake Area Historical Society has been collecting, preserving and sharing the stories of the municipalities that touch the shore of White Bear Lake - Birchwood, Dellwood, Mahtomedi, White Bear Lake and White Bear Township - since 1970.
