It has never been more clear just how important our pets are in our lives than during these troublesome times. They offer us unconditional love, distraction, entertainment, a reason to nap or get moving, and most of all - comfort.

For many, animal companions are truly what gets them through the day. For others, being faced with the possibility of losing a pet due to financial hardships has become a heartbreaking reality. For animals in need, a dedicated community of animal lovers is critical for their chances of thriving.

Carver Scott Humane Society knows that pets are family. That’s why we approach our adoptions from a place of yes, and build relationships with people to help connect them with a pet and best friend. That’s why we provide emergency assistance to people who are unexpectedly unable to cover the costs of caring for their best friend. That’s why we see each animal and person we serve as an individual, with a unique story, who is deserving of our kindness.

Thankfully, we don’t have to practice social distancing with our pets. We can hold them close. We’re in this together, and they will continue to need us just as much as we need them.

When you Give to the Max you are providing:

  • Food and supplies to foster volunteers who open their hearts and homes to animals.

  • Critical medical care to animals in need - from preventative care like heartworm treatment, to dental work, to spay/neuter and emergency surgeries.

  • A place to call home for animals with nowhere to go.

  • Reassurance to families facing hardships that they don’t have to worry about losing their best friend.

We don’t have to cancel unconditional love. But we do need to continue to help some of the most vulnerable during this troublesome time. Thank you for your gift today.
