Help us keep growing!
We are a few days away from our second #GiveatHomeMN Campaign! We are keeping the momentum going during these trying times. With access and Mutual Aid at the forefront, we are providing direct ( Covid- 19 safe ) services to our communities. With the same goal in mind of $5,000, we invite you all to help us keep growing!
The SPIRAL Collective (Supporting People in Reproduction, Abortion, and Loss) is a full-spectrum reproductive options and support group centering direct abortion care support. With a radical model of care for the community and by the community, SPIRAL provides free and non-judgemental support through a variety of reproductive experiences to clients throughout the Twin Cities, Occupied Dakota Territories.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 during #GiveatHomeMN
SPIRAL has transitioned into a 501c3 , we are so excited to have finalized our Board!
Despite the diminishing access to repro care and support during these last few months of the Pandemic, SPIRAL is still here for you. While in this time of uncertainty, time of learning and adapting, we continue to deeply invest and commit to this work.
We have done this by strengthening our infrastructure (Board), developing a mutual aid arm Cocoa Butter Futures, aiding clients in accessing Abortion and Reproductive Care, and continuing our ride share and telehealth services. We are so THANKFUL for our amazing crew of volunteers, community partners, clinics, and supporters!
As a response to George Floyd's murder & Twin Cities uprising for Black Liberation Cocoa Butta Futures provided a container for a food pantry that provided support 70 + families twice a week for the last 6 months. The pantry is temporarily closed as we look to the future, and a new location that's better suited for the longevity of this project. As we diligently work to keep our operations up and running and feeding the families that have come to depend on us, you can invest in community aid by keeping our project flowing and funded. Food Justice is Repro Justice!
Help bridge the gap to supportive abortion and reproductive care in this challenging landscape. Your donation will allow us to expand our work and better serve our clients. donations will go towards general operational costs that will directly support our Leadership Circle and Volunteers in their work, reduce access barriers for folks needing reproductive healthcare and continue to provide adaptive/informed/best practices Covid-19 care kits + protocols.
Join us in our work of radical community care and organizing by contributing to our fundraiser. Your support will help us with everything from our food pantry, distributing cleaning supplies , funding the time of a transportation volunteer, to maintaining our phone line:

Through our AASK program, we're able to provide free aftercare bags to folks who are in the early recovery stages of abortion or miscarriage. Each bag will contain some of the key items needed for self-care immediately after a terminated pregnancy — including not only physical aids like heat-wraps, underwear, and maxi pads, but also emotional aids like journals, pens, and referrals to accessible, compassionate, and non-judgemental community resources. Each kit will also contain a stigma-busting and practical guide to self-support after an abortion or miscarriage.
$500 Contribution -- Cover costs of operating our phone line for one month
This contribution allows us to maintain capacity of our phone line, and therefore, timely service to our clients. Our phone line is one of the primary ways that clients access our services.
$600 Contribution — Cover the monthly stipend for one member of the Leadership Circle.
With a contribution of 600, you can help SPIRAL to provide a member of our Leadership Circle with financial compensation. Our LC has a set max of 40 hours per month of work, and they regularly go over that number as far as 20 hours! While the Collective's ability to compensate these hours is limited, stipends allow us to nourish our leadership until we are able to provide a more appropriate, hourly wage.
