Give to the Max Day

Our Band Boosters support the all of the curricular bands at East Ridge (Varsity Band, Symphonic Band, Percussion Class) along with the co-curricular bands (Marching Raptors, Jazz 1, Jazz 2, Winter Percussion, and Winter Guard).  We try to keep our booster fees affordable for families and also support families in need with our Angel fund so that all who want to are able to participate. In order to do this, we need support. Our Marching Raptors placed 2nd overall at the Rebel Classic in October, along with performing our show at 4 home football games. Our Jazz One and Jazz Two bands which will be competing at the Eau Claire Jazz Festival this April. Our students work incredibly hard to represent our community by participating in parades for Heritage Days, Cottage Grove Strawberry Festival,  Woodbury Days and at the Minnesota State Fair. They also support our community through our Band Buddies program at Lake Middle School and require public performances as part of the curriculum including at local nursing homes and at the Tri-M Music Festival at East Ridge. Many of our students are members of the Tri-M Music Honor Society which advocates for music education and requires hours of community service. We truly believe that our students represent our community’s values in the best way possible.

All donations are used to support our general fund including purchasing sheet music, instruments, technology advancements, transportation, fees for students in financial need, and much more.
