Every Meal - Hamilton Backpack Food Ministry

Did you know that we have kids right here in our neighborhood that are facing hunger issues each weekend they go home from school?  Faith Lutheran Church has been in partnership with Every Meal/Hamilton Elementary school for the past few years.  We have done several things which include bringing classroom snacks over to the school to support the students and the teachers during the school week, volunteers have filled the backpacks with food to go home on the weekends and we have had many of you help with monetary donations to help fund the cost of the backpack food.  Did you know it costs $368 per school year per child to send home this much needed food in their backpacks?  Our goal is to help 33 children, which means our overall goal is to raise $12,144!!
