Long story long, jorts! formed the way most things in life form -- over beer at at 10PM on a Tuesday in 2014. 

Five years later (OMG WE'RE ANCIENT), jorts! has been to nearly 15 improv festivals in almost 10 states, has had multiple runs at HUGE, and performed all over the Twin Cities at places like Strike Theater, Brewprov, Melee a Trois, PizzaProv, and Improv in the Park.  We also started teaching at festivals this year, and that's been pretty friggin' cool. 

We are so grateful that HUGE brought us together. The members of jorts! wouldn't have found each other any other way, and HUGE has been such a supportive theater as we've grown, developed shows, and yelled a whole lot in front of a 4-person audience when there was a blizzard that one time. 

So today we ask you to please donate. Please help us raise $750 to show our appreciation for a non-profit theater that has built such a robust community of artists and creators. A theater that brought together us weirdos to do this thing we call jorts!. And a theater that let us start a show with a full-length Dodge Ram commercial before starting our set for no other reason than because we needed it. 

PS: We're bringing back an ole favorite. If we raise $750 by the time our show starts, we will (for only the third time ever) perform in jorts -- and not much else.
