IDEA Fund

Based in ACDA-MN's mission to "inspire and support a community of choral musicians," the IDEA Fund was created in 2022. It supports innovative ideas and people to make choral music more inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible. The goal of the fund is to support these three objectives:

1. Removing Barriers (not letting things like geography get in the way of engage with choral music)

2. Mentorship (supporting young directors as they transition from university student to choral director) 

3. Accessibility (making participation on choral music more accessible to a wider population)

The fund is open to ACDA-MN members and non-members, the fund supports choral activity the occurs in and outside of the school setting, new and existing programs, and capacity building for organizations.

Applications are currently being accepted. The first round of awards will be given out in early 2024. ACDA-MN is very excited to launch this important initiative!
