$1,000 goal

We don't usually appeal to our donors and patrons like this, but your support is needed now more than ever.

During this COVID-19 crisis, our theatre doors have been closed, the lights turned off, and our employees furloughed as we wait out the unexpected.

Would you consider a special one-time gift of $25 or more for #GivingTuesdayNow?

If we can raise $1,000 with your help today, we could potentially receive a match donation from GoFundMeCharity for a grand total of $2,000 for #GivingTuesdayNow.

The truth is, without you, our biggest supporters and donors, there isn't a show. Without an audience, we're simply a group of actors projecting out into a giant, empty void of a room.

Can you make a gift of any size to help us reach our #GivingTuesdayNow goal? If 40 people donate $25 each, we'll reach our goal in no time!

We fully believe theatre is important now, and maybe more so than ever before.  Theater was important before this pandemic began, it's important now as it offers hope and distraction in these stressful times, and it will be important when it's all over, because we will all have stories that will need to be told.

It pains us to do so, but we have had to postpone the remainder of our 2019-2020 season for all three of our stages, and by doing so, it does hurt us financially. If we are not producing shows, we have no income.

A few of our employees have returned to work, but even with these employees, we're still a very bare bones crew working to position the Playhouse to be in the best place they can when our doors are able to open again.

Please visit our website (www.duluthplayhouse.org) for the latest information and updates about the Duluth Playhouse and how we're weathering this storm.

Thank you for your support, and we can't wait to see your smiling faces at our stages again!
