2019 is the 100th anniversary of the Volstead Act which enforced Prohibition. The Granite Falls Heritage Partnership and the Granite Falls Historical Society are planning new exhibits and events to celebrate this important anniversary. Andrew Volstead , his wife Nellie and daughter Laura all worked to solve the social problems of the early twentieth century. The new exhibit will serve as a look back at history and an inspiration for today.
