Wildflyer Coffee is a nonprofit coffee company that creates employment opportunities for youth experiencing homelessness. We employ young people aged 16–24 for a 6-month work and life skills training program that gives them the tools needed to leave homelessness and maintaining stability. 

Here at Wildflyer, we feel more confident than ever that our program is critical, especially in times like these. Youth experiencing homelessness already face more barriers to employment than their peers. We know that they are feeling the effects of this pandemic more than most of us, and will face new and unanticipated challenges to employment in the coming months. Job support is more critical than ever before.

In response to this, we are committed to not only maintaining our projected employment hours but also expanding our program capacity through inventive job creation. There needs to be a place for youth experiencing homelessness to receive gainful employment and life skills support. Right now, our work and life skills training program is more pertinent than ever. 

We need to raise $5000 to cover the wages and programming of new employees and to increase our program capacity beyond what we anticipated for this summer. Youth experiencing homelessness have always needed our support, but now more than ever, they need access to employment and life skills training. With your help, we can see more youth through these unprecedented times.
