Spirit of the Lake Community Arts
is upgrading our Community Kitchen to better meet
the culinary needs of everyone we serve.
From personal rentals for bulk meal prep, canning, and party planning — to supporting beloved local events like May Faire Festival and Apple Cider Festival — our kitchen is at the heart of community connection. It also empowers small businesses by providing affordable, local access to a commercial kitchen space.
With your support, we can create a space that:
- Hosts hands-on cooking and nutrition classes for individuals, families, and youth
- Provides meal prep and food distribution for neighbors in need
- Offers rental opportunities for events, catering, and pop-up food ventures, helping SOLCA remain financially sustainable
This year, we’ve already added a commercial refrigerator. Next, we’re working toward:
A new range with proper venting
A new freezer
Minimal construction to open up space and remove old cabinetry
But first
Your donation helps us reach our short term
$1,500 goal
towards outfitting the kitchen with
stainless steel prep tables, durable cooking pots, and a new sink.
These essentials will keep our community cooking together.
Donate today and help SOLCA build a culinary space where we can
connect, learn, and cook together.
