Pan Outreach $1,000 Match!

Pan Outreach is on a mission to provide world music education and arts-rich experiences through steel pan instruction and performance. We believe every person has a right to a well-rounded education that includes the arts and all of the benefits they bring.

Pan Outreach provides free classroom steel-drum instruction to Title I K-12 schools in the urban core of the Twin Cities and a free summer Pan Camp with an opportunity to perform with our professional steel-drum bands and guest artists. That's right, both our classroom residencies and our week long camp are offered at no cost to our participants!

As of 2025, our 26 instruments have been played by over 15,000 students across the Twin Cities, and the demand is not slowing down! We are booked solid for three years out with more schools joining the list every day.

As we look ahead at 2026, we are facing decreased revenue, loss of federal grants, and an increasingly difficult fundraising landscape. We need your help to keep this incredible program up and running. If we reach $1,000 in donations, Greg Hiniker, a generous Chops alum, will match with a $1,000 donation of his own!
