The Play is THE Thing- Give BIG

I first performed in Rochester at the Rochester Civic Theatre in the spring of 1999 in the show "Phantom"! It had been a couple years since high school and performing for me and I was new to Rochester and doing that show reignited my love of theatre and performing! Since then over the last 26 years, I've performed with multiple area theatre groups, have had many other opportunities to sing and perform and even created a theatre troupe with friends! I met my husband doing theatre, have made many life long friends through theatre and have even raised my daughters with a love of theatre and performing. 

I joined the RCT board in July of 2020 during the pandemic in an effort to keep the legacy of RCT going. During the last few years I've seen the theatre grow, become a hub for other local groups to have access to performance space, and turn the theatre into a thriving and sustainable business model! In order for this legacy to continue, we need donations- big and small- to continue this important work for the community. Theatre is more than "putting on shows" It really is a community and network that encourages people to grow and challenges people to think outside the box and grow outside of their comfort zone.
