House of Shields

We at the House of Shields provide free lodging for Police Officers (active or retired) and their immediate family members who come to Rochester, MN, for medical care at the Mayo Clinic—helping to relieve their financial burden during challenging times. By 2031, the Rochester House of Shields will operate a new 6-unit lodging facility near the Mayo Clinic campus, supported by a strong network of community partners, donors, and volunteers, ensuring sustainable operations for decades to come. Your donation to this campaign is just the beginnings steps of helping us secure our own building. Due to the generosity of a local couple, they've agreed to match up to $5,000 in donations to help us kick start our fundraising campaign.
