Hilltop's Heroes for Foster Children

Hilltop supports foster children and foster families in our local area by providing Christmas presents, clothes, and other immediate needs. 

Foster children arrive in foster homes with very little, sometimes only the clothes they are wearing. While foster families provide for daily needs, it is often difficult to for these families to provide the extras, like Christmas presents.

With the support of Hilltop members, Lutheran Social Service foster families were able to host a holiday party for the foster children last year. The foster children received gifts from their wishlist and had the opportunity to select items from several tables; hand-tied quilts, books, toys, and art supplies. The children also enjoyed pizza, holiday treats, and a visit from Santa and the Grinch.

You may shop directly for the children (off of their wishlist) or make a financial gift (cash or gift cards) to help offset the costs for gifts and wishes unmatched or not purchased.
