Protect Minnesota's environment with me!

I've worked at MCEA for just over a year. 

In that time, I've watched coworkers work with residents to shut down the toxic Smith Foundry, use a lawsuit to create stronger protections for nitrate pollution that poisons Minnesotans' drinking water, and hold the line on Minnesota's bedrock environmental protections when data centers came to town. 

My biggest takeaway: MCEA does not care who is causing the problem. Big tech oligarchs that use NDA's to try and keep their data center plans secret. Longstanding industrial polluters that believe they have a God-given right to cause asthma and cancer in nearby neighborhoods. State agencies under pressure from industry to relax crucial environmental protections. 

MCEA is unbeholden to special interests, and the organization will go toe-to-toe with anyone that threatens Minnesotan’s right to clean air and drinkable water.
