Every spotlight that shines on the Rochester Civic Theatre stage illuminates more than a performance — it shines on the future of our youth. The Rochester Civic Theatre has always been a place where young people, like Lilly, discover their voices, their confidence, and their creativity. From their first audition jitters to the final bow, our youth participants learn skills that last a lifetime: teamwork, discipline, empathy, and self-expression.

In a world where so many young people struggle to find connection and confidence, theatre provides a safe, welcoming space to belong. Through acting, music, dance, and technical production, students explore who they are and what they can become. The friendships they form here — and the mentors who guide them — help shape strong, thoughtful, and resilient community members.
