STRONGmovement — Give to the Max Day Campaign Mission

This Give to the Max Day, STRONGmovement is asking our community to help us continue a mission at the heart of everything we do: creating access, opportunity, and transformative experiences for young artists. Last year, thanks to your generosity, we were able to fully scholarship four dancers for the STRONGintensive 2025; an immersive summer training experience that challenges dancers to grow in strength, artistry, discipline, and self-discovery. These scholarships opened doors for dancers who otherwise would not have been able to participate, and the impact was profound. We saw dancers gain confidence, find their voices, and build community with mentors and peers who share their passion.

This year marks our 7th summer intensive, during which we typically host 14–20 young artists ages 15–21. To determine scholarship recipients, dancers submit short inspirational tributes sharing why they love to dance or why they feel called to join the STRONGintensive. These heartfelt submissions reflect their dreams, dedication, and the stories that drive them. From there, dancers are entered into a randomized raffle, ensuring a fair and equitable selection process; made possible solely through the support of donors like you.

Access to high-quality training should not be determined by financial circumstances. Many talented dancers face barriers unrelated to their commitment or potential, but rooted in limited resources. When we remove these barriers, we open the door to possibility, empower youth who are hungry to learn, and strengthen our dance community by lifting voices that deserve to be seen, heard, and nurtured.

This mission lives at the core of STRONGmovement’s values: community, empowerment, and opportunity. We are committed to creating spaces where all dancers, regardless of financial status, can step into their power, take risks, and build relationships that support their artistic journey. Your support directly fuels this vision.

With your help, we can continue to uplift dancers who simply need someone to believe in them. Every contribution, big or small, moves us closer to providing life-changing access to young artists who need it most. Thank you for standing with STRONGmovement and for investing in the next generation of creators, leaders, and storytellers.

"I had such a great time, thank you so much for the opportunity! I loved being able to strengthen my artistry with other dancers and teachers in a hardworking environment. I learned so much about the importance of character, staying focused, and how to take care of my mental and physical health as a dancer. I feel so inspired after my time at the intensive and am very excited to see what my future holds. I am so grateful that you have been a part of my dance journey!" Emma Conley
